Oklahoma Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (OK-LSAMP) Research Symposium
OK-LSAMP Symposium Recognizes Outstanding Undergraduate Research
The 29th Annual OK-LSAMP Research Symposium was held Sept. 23, 2023, on the Oklahoma State University campus in Stillwater. More than 100 students and 65 faculty and family members were on hand for a day filled with research, as well as sessions hosted by current Scholars and alumni who illustrated by personal example that obstacles can be overcome, and amazing success achieved. The event included a record number of poster and oral presentations, spotlighting OK-LSAMP Scholars’ outstanding research projects from the past year; 21 oral presentations and 42 scientific posters were presented. The top three presenters in both the oral and poster categories were identified by judges, as well as a "Grand Prize" award for the Scholar who had top scores in both the poster and oral presentations. The winners are recognized below. We would like to acknowledge the outstanding presentations of all the Scholars who presented research from ten Alliance campuses across the state.
