OK-LSAMP 30th Annual Research Symposium
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: SUN., SEPT. 15, 11:59 PM
The 30th Annual OK-LSAMP Research Symposium will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, at the Wes Watkins Center on the Oklahoma State University campus in Stillwater. More than 200 students, faculty, staff, and family members are expected to attend.
OK-LSAMP Scholars from 12 Oklahoma Alliance campuses will present their research at the event. A pre-symposium "Preparing for Higher Degrees" (PHD) workshop will be held on Friday, October 18, from 2-6 p.m. OK-LSAMP Scholars and Campus Program Managers are invited to attend a networking dinner after the workshop on Friday. Registration is required for all activities. Registration is now open and will close on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 11:59 p.m.
OK-LSAMP Scholars who wish to present a poster and/or oral presentation at the event must submit an abstract with their registration. All poster session abstracts will be accepted. Twenty (20) students will be selected to participate in the oral presentation session. Selection will be based on (1) abstract quality and (2) equitable representation of the 12 Alliance Campuses. Students accepted for the oral session will be notified the week of Sept. 16.
We hope to see you there!
